Logitech M305 Wireless Mouse (Fuschia Burst)

I've used a variety of mice, mainly from Microsoft and Logitech, and I find this M305 model to be the best in terms of low price, accuracy, and sturdiness (I tend to drop mice a lot -- it usually sits perched on the arm of my chair.) Dropping it on a wooden floor does not seem to bother it. It is comfortable for me -- a grown male -- and for my young daughter. Highly recommended.

What can I say - I bought this mouse because it was a Logitech, small, wireless and was the least expensive of all the Logitechs M305 mouses (mice, lol). I didn't care about the color and I've had good results w/Logitech; plus I'm a Prime user with Amazon.com, so I received free shipping. The mouse has a USB plug that you can either leave in your computer's USB port or, if you will be using it on more than one computer, it commutes nicely in its own hidden storage compartment inside the mouse. I've had the mouse for a couple of months now and its still going strong, doing good - I love it!

I use a Logitech M305 with my laptop and my desktop. The size is perfect, neither one has ever had a wireless connection problem, the USB receiver is tiny so I can leave it plugged into my laptop all the time, and the battery life is quite long (months maybe?)even when I leave it on 24/7. I was able to get them both for a very reasonable price by buying the ones with off the wall color schemes that seemed to be discounted. Because really, I don't care if my mouse has a dab of "Fuschia Burst" on it, it still works great.

Logitech Wireless Mouse M305

  • Ergonomic design with soft rubber grip gives you exceptional comfort
  • Plug-and-forget Nano receiver is so small it can stay in your laptop
  • Logitech advanced 2.4 GHz wireless provides a powerful, reliable connection to your PC or Mac
  • Intelligent battery management delivers months of use and added convenience
  • High-definition optical tracking (1000 dpi) enables responsive and smooth cursor controlI bought this for my wife and she loves it. She uses it many hours each day and it has a great battery life, perfect accuracy on the screen, and fits well in her hand. Logitech is definitely our go-to brand for mouses (mice?)
Super easy to use. just take it out of the box, insert batteries, plug in micro usb, then it works!! i like the design a lot too!!
I really like the Logitech Wireless Mouse M305. It was simple to hook up and I like the size. I like the fact it has a turn off switch underneath so I can extend the battery life. I use it with my desktop. I absolutely love my Logitech M305 mouse. I noticed it has gone up in price almost $5 since I purchased mine at the end of July, so I would suggest purchasing one of the other M305 designs since they appear to be cheaper for some reason. But as for the mouse, I definitely recommend it. I have never used a mouse with a laptop so I wasn't sure I would like it, but now I think it would be hard to live without. The M305 is a little smaller than some other mice (is that right??) and it fits my hand very nicely. It has an off button on the bottom if you want to turn it off, but it powers down by itself if you don't use it for a few minutes. When I move it, it immediately is back up and working with no lag time. As for installation, it has a little tiny usb that you plug in, and then it just works. No installation needed -- just plug and use. The usb is so short that you just leave it plugged into your laptop all the time. It also works from a very long distance! I just tried using it from about 30 feet away (so far that I had to get my granddaughter to go look at the computer screen for me!) and it was still moving the cursor nicely. I also tried it on the opposite side from where my usb port is and it works fine from there, too. It works well on cloth sofa arms or just about anywhere else you try it, with the exception of glass. My dining room tabletop is glass, so if I'm sitting there I just use it on a piece of paper.
Can't say anything about how quickly it will use up the battery (one AA), but I'm had it for about a month and it's still working from at least 30 ft:) Since it turns itself off when not in use, I'm not very worried about battery life.
In conclusion, buy this! You won't be sorry. I love this tiny mouse so far...!

    Pros:
    1. Compact size makes it easy to carry around in your bag
    2. There's a convenient on/off switch button so you won't waste battery
    3. You can place and hide the USB under your mouse.
    4. Tiny USB

So far it's working perfectly! I bought this for my wife and she loves it. She uses it many hours each day and it has a great battery life, perfect accuracy on the screen, and fits well in her hand. Logitech is definitely our go-to brand for mouses (mice?)I bought this along with a lap desk to use my laptop in the car. Mouse is small but that should be obvious.
One thing I don't understand is why they take a "regular" sized mouse and scale it down so all the groves your fingers would fit in on a normal mouse are now in the wrong place. Why not make a small mouse and adjust the groves to fit a person's hand?
Either way, this is much better than using the touch pad on my lap top for extended use.
Wireless synced up automatically started working right away.
I like that there is a spot to hold the usb adapter inside of the mouse, makes the unit easy to store in my laptop bag while not in use and I know I will not loose the adapter.
